Posted April 18, 200619 yr Looking for recommended box size and tuneing to produce the most bass I have some competition now... so i decided to take out the back seats and install my other mag and port it.
April 18, 200619 yr Yes...I don't know 3cuft 35hz for some street beating? I like to tune lower... Edited April 18, 200619 yr by Jordan94z
April 18, 200619 yr MAgs sound exceptional vented or sealed. For best results, follow Nick's suggestions on the site.
April 18, 200619 yr If you want MAX SPL, don't expect your daily driving to be pleasant atall. I think you mean you want it as loud as you can get it musically.

April 18, 200619 yr Author I think he meant "vented".At any rate, vented = ported, they're synonymous.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>otay!! any recomended box designs for it it would be much apreciated!!you can email me them if you want [email protected]its for 2 12"s max width is probably 37 and hight 14-18the depth can be adjusted as need'd because my rear seats are outie anyways i want a double front baffle also just so i know the subs wont fall out Edited April 18, 200619 yr by krazie

April 19, 200619 yr Admin oh forgot to mention, the vid I shot of the MAG, it did awesome in 2 cubes at 27 hz, just a side note to think about

April 19, 200619 yr That would sound great, it will be louder if you tune higher but will not have nearly the SQ.
April 20, 200619 yr Admin oh forgot to mention, the vid I shot of the MAG, it did awesome in 2 cubes at 27 hz, just a side note to think aboutwell since i have 2 then it would be 4 @ 27hz??I was just mentioning it so you did not feel like you needed 3 cubes per sub, but you can. From what I have seen on here so far, the MAG is a flexiable sub. If you want more output tune a little higher and if you want go for the larger box too, the MAG can do it.
April 21, 200619 yr ^ what the others have said. Tune higher for a larger peak, or you can tune lower for massive street bass. Keep in mind that if you tune above 50 and it sounds like arse for daily driving don't be surprised.
