Posted April 19, 200619 yr OK, well wondering what your opinion is on dedicated midbass drivers like the JL 6W0, TB 6.5, EU-700 and things of that sort? If one say had a higher frequency range say 10hz-4khz, would you use it? in a 2way or 3way setup? vented or sealed or in door. What price would you go for?
April 19, 200619 yr isee, you planning to make your own woofer huh? for that freq range w/o the nice beaming, id say 50/driver.i would use it in a 2 way, and if space allows vented
April 19, 200619 yr neo or ferrite? that wide of a range, i'd pay 35-50 a driver depending upon motor. IB in door more then likely. 2 way set up.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
April 19, 200619 yr Author its a normal magnet( no neo)...and its not mine its someone who I deal for so take your pick. I've seen pics but they wanted some feedback as to how well they think it will do. I think it will do very well. I think the free air resonance is at 52hz. Peak XMAX is 10mm. Needs 150rms to run though.
April 19, 200619 yr have any pix of them? with that high end extension, i would be definitely interested
April 24, 200619 yr dedicated midbass capeable of producing usable sound below 40Hz while still playing up to 4kHz...i'd like to see that
April 24, 200619 yr how's this going? and where are my pics??i'm getting really close to buying a set of kicker rmb 8's for the truck.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
April 24, 200619 yr dedicated midbass capeable of producing usable sound below 40Hz while still playing up to 4kHz...i'd like to see that <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Already out there. But it's heavily enclosure dependent
April 24, 200619 yr Author pix?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>sounds like it might work sweet with a horn setup<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Sens.-88.1RMS-150Freq Rep-10hz-4khzVC Diameter-1.37"Peak Xmax-10mmFree Air resonance-52hz
