Posted July 22, 201312 yr Ok I have a few questions about the closure that I am designing. First is this a slot port design? Second do i need to throw some bracing in the inclosure or is it good as is? Third Have used various calculators to calculate port size for tuning is this correct? The box I have designed is 20"L x 48"W x 15"H puting the box at 5.3 without bracing. The subs will be facing the rear door and the port will be facing up on the back wall. Port will be 4"H x 20"W x 22.21"L. The port Vol is 1776.8 the port area is 80" square. Any and all help with this will be great Vehicle : 1999 Chevy TahoeLocation in the vehicle: RearSpace available (Length x Width x Height): (x)L x 48W x 15.5Subwoofer make and model: 2 FI Audio 12" SSDSubwoofer Size: 12"Number of Subwoofers: 2Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.): Slot ?What type of music do you like?: Rap, Tecno, ElectronicIs your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: EverydayTuning Freq (Hz): 33HzVolume : 5 Cubic Feet

July 23, 201312 yr No it's not the same tuning. It will change with more and more bracing, filling, wire, etc..
