I need a 2 channel amp that produces 1000-1200x2 watts rms at 2 ohms

What's your budget? And what do you plan to power with it?

Why do you need a two channel with that much power per channel?

With dual fours you can't do .5 ohms. Run a class D mono at 2k or 2.5k @1 ohm.

With duel 4's he can run at .5 ohms. 4ohm+4ohm=2ohm x4. 2ohm+2ohm=1ohm.x2 then 1ohm+1ohm=.5ohm. So yes with 4 duel4 subs you can wire at .5ohms.

Get 2 amps (1000 w @ 1 Ohms each) and link them both.

You will have those 2000 w rms @ 2 Ohms for your 4 D4 subs.

Yes you can I was wrong, but running at .5 ohms if its a daily driver isn't good. Are you going to run two subs off each channel?

I would not run .5 daily unless your electrical is great. run 2k at 2ohms off of 1 amp
