Posted August 18, 201312 yr my d2400 arrived in the mail yesterday .. I have a problem though, the website recommended the short posts but dang they are so skinny there's no way my terminals are going to stay.. does anyone know if they make thicker ones? I have the big 3 upgrade using the knukonceptz battery terminals if it matters
August 18, 201312 yr There is a washer with the terminals for a reason. The washer and tightening nut with hold them in place.
August 18, 201312 yr Author im talking about my posts being to skinny bro not about them being loose.....
August 18, 201312 yr My first post still answered this question. Everything will tie down fine with the washer used at the top of the terminal posts

August 18, 201312 yr You use Ring Terminals with Bolt Post batteries. Other normal Lead Acid batteries, you use "Battery terminals" which are called SAE Posts.
August 18, 201312 yr Also, For everyone's information, those Knu batt terminals are 105% terrible. I only tested 8 out of 8.. Every single one suck. They cannot handle the high current demand of an audio system because the fastening method for the SAE post is not tight enough and the Furrowed terminals are flawed. All my tests resulted in substantial heat buildup at the terminal and burn marks in the Furrow terminals after months of use. When you buy an aftermarket battery for car audio, they do not use SAE posts. You need something that can adapt LOTS of cables, that's bolt post batteries.
August 18, 201312 yr Author you know ive noticed that they are loose as hell even on my stock battery.. so im supposed to get something that can adapt a lot of wires?? im guessing I have to change the end of my wires to terminal rings right??
August 20, 201312 yr You're going to have to ring terminal all your wires and directly screw them on to the battery post.
August 21, 201312 yr Author yeah I already ordered all the equipment .. seems like a way better idea that way than these shitty ass knukonceptz terminals
