Hello, I have a '12 mustang with the factory head unit and I want to power the door speakers and a sub.

Is there a way to do this without replacing the head unit? My air controls are integrated into the same panel and there are no aftermarket options for me that look nice, and did I mention the faceplates are $300 and up? not including the double din

I think a line output converter would be the normal solution but how do you get 3 sigals out of one?

a line out converter should work just fine..  just get one that you can adjust the output signal on..

Son of a bitch, I made this same topic in January and didn't even realize it.

The LC2i is what was recommended, so this is what I have gathered.

(1. Tap into front speakers and run wires to LC2i input

(2. Tap into rear speakers and run wires to LC2i input

(3. Run lo-output rca to sub input on the mono amplifier

(4. Run hi-output into a Y RCA adapter then to both channels on the 4 channel amplifier

Do I have to use the front and rear speakers or can I just use the rear for the signal?

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is if all of my speakers are being powered by the amplifier then they are no longer connected to the head unit which would be providing signal to the LC2i.
