With the sale on Flatline amplifiers, it's hard not to resist asking if upgrading is worth it...  I currently have a Soundqubed 1200.1 powering my SSA Icon 15  d2 in a sealed 2.6 ft^3 box. 

 

Will there be any noticeable difference in loudness?  Will this amp provide enough headroom in case I purchase another Icon 15 in the future? 

 

Any information would be helpful since there isn't much data on these amps.

Which flatline amp? If you add another sub you will have to wire to 2 or .5 ohms.

The FL1 model. There's a video of it running at half ohm so I assume it's stable under that load.

Yes it is, but why if not competing? Just buy another soundquebed, that's what I would do if I bought another sub.

I guess I wanted more power on tap but if it won't make any audible difference, then I'll spend my money on a different upgrade.

Not where I'd spend my dough...depending of course on what else you plan. Overall budget and goals make a much better discussion than will this help.
