September 18, 201311 yr Author My friend is looking to sell me his UFO btl 18d2 for like $250 I'ma get a crescendo 2k a few months down the road. What kind of electrical would I need for 2,000rms? I'm getting a knu 1/0 kit next month, and a new hu next month as well. I was thinking a pair of marine batteries from Walmart; am I fine with the stock alt?

Just set it up and check your voltage.
September 18, 201311 yr Trailblazer?I had a deka 9a31 with stock alt and big 3 with a crescendo bc2k. Worked good. Better batt would have helped more. It was a little old.
September 18, 201311 yr Should be fine with the pair of batts in the back, big 3 in 1/0, and a run or two of 1/0 to the rear. I was running 4 batts in the back on a stock 100 amp alt without any issues. Congrats on your first car. Chevy FTW! Going to be a great first setup!
