few questions.. is 1000 watts to much for these?(500 per) .. and i havent used them yet, do they sound better in sealed or ported.. looks like theyd work good in ported, and id like to go that route if i can fit it

500 is fine... just keep an ear out for clipping. What amp?

Sealed will sound good, ported will wang louder, but sealed won't be no slouch in a truck :D

They dont need that muchy to get loud. They can take it though.

talk to flakko about a mid size Xterminator amplifer, the RL-i's do not need tons of power, by many accounts 300 watts is plenty, but many have put 500+

we can help out with the box ideas if you need help

250-350 is probably about perfect. they will take 500, there jsut isn't a need for it.

port them. tune fairly low, about 36hz, you'll love em!!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
