April 29, 200619 yr Author few questions.. is 1000 watts to much for these?(500 per) .. and i havent used them yet, do they sound better in sealed or ported.. looks like theyd work good in ported, and id like to go that route if i can fit it
April 29, 200619 yr 500 is fine... just keep an ear out for clipping. What amp?Sealed will sound good, ported will wang louder, but sealed won't be no slouch in a truck

April 29, 200619 yr Admin talk to flakko about a mid size Xterminator amplifer, the RL-i's do not need tons of power, by many accounts 300 watts is plenty, but many have put 500+ we can help out with the box ideas if you need help
April 29, 200619 yr 250-350 is probably about perfect. they will take 500, there jsut isn't a need for it. port them. tune fairly low, about 36hz, you'll love em!!wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
