Can someone help with ideas for a new enclosure? Wanting to figure out the port velocity and everything . Model everything right for this one. . Trying to get a new computer so I can do everything my self and learn everything but in the mean time need some help.

what are you wanting to change from your old box.

Probley going a little smaller and was thinking about a round port on driver side

Figured people knew for some reason lol my bad. 2005 mercury sable. 2 zcon 12s. Going to be a "trunk wall" Will be at least on 4k rms. Was thinking about doing about 5.5 cubes and an 8" round port. I mostly like tuned in the low 30s . But going to have changeable ports

Pretty sure when we were working through ideas the 8" port would fit on face with the 12s. I don't think the port was going to be able to long enough for it to be straight. You might have to have an 8" 90 degree elbow. Those can get pretty expensive.

Not enough port area for those. For a zcon, I would use at least 60cuin of port. With a single 8", it'll play yes, but won't be optimal.

I would also try to increase your internal volume as well.

I can probley do a 10" port but still will need to be 5.5 net cubes or so.. cause I can go a little bigger on the enclosure but the 10" will take up a little more

I'm wanting to use about 36" wide. . 26"deep. . And 15" tall. . . The port will be about 6" out of the enclosure

For reference, my 10" aero that is flared, the OD is 15.5"

Probably not going to use a flare
