Posted May 2, 200619 yr HI! My name is Bosco Ruiz, Iam from Nicaragua and I bought 2 TEAM RF 12" 2000 RMS Each sub....I have a questions. Can I put 1 T20001 For each sub.??I can not to put 2 T30001, Cause it is too expensive....I have only 1 T20001 but i could to buy another one for those subs. What do u suggest??
May 2, 200619 yr i dont see any reason why you couldn't. you could wire it to 1 ohm and get 2000 watts. i dont really know any specs on the team rf subs or what voice coil configuration you have though. there is nothing wrong with underpowering a sub. another option, unless you must only have RF stuff, you can probably find an amp equivalent to the T30001bd for a little less.
May 2, 200619 yr those power series amps are underrated, they should push your subs to the limit. they are probably designed to run them.
May 2, 200619 yr Author Thanks.....I know that T20001 puts out around 2400 rms.. + another T20001 2400 RMS..will be 4800 rms...and subs= 2000 RMS Each = 4000 total.....Will work very nice....put out around 152-155db.......Look...I won last month here at Nicaragua...2 Power HX2 2000 RMS TOTAL and I put 1 T20001 = 2400 RMS and guess what?? The GAIN was in 45-50%.... too heavy for 2000 rms on sub. 143.3 db!!I will put 2T20001 For those subs......a big box.....Each Amp for each Sub..How many db could I hit?? May 3, 200619 yr Admin hard to tell what db# you will hit, but I am sure it will be pretty nice with all that power
May 3, 200619 yr Author LOOK...2 T20001 = 5000 RMS2 TEAM RF =4000 RMS.I do not know why the some people say....u will have to put 2 T30001 ...and a person told me that if u put 2 T30001 for 2 TEAM RF, The GAIN u will have to put on 50% .Now....if i put 2 T20001 with 2 TEAM RF I will put the amplifier on 85-90%...so??I think that 2 T20001 are enough only if i build a big box and strong too.Remember2 T20001 = 5000 RMS2 TEAM RF =4000 RMS
May 3, 200619 yr if the competition doesn't require to play the notes for 24hrs, there will be no problem with the extra 500w per sub.
