ok this is the deal im looking for 15" sub for a friend...

he has a MTX1501 (1500w x 1 @ 2 ohm) so the sub has to be dvc 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

the price is $350.00 for the sub and has to compare to say a 12a, 15 magnum, 15H2 ect ect something along those lines.

at first i was going to get him a sx15 from RE because they said they can build it any ohm load id like, but with that much power im scared to blow the sub. i was told that they dont like that much power for daily just burps.

this is going in a 98 accord with good size box tuned to hurt...lol

if you need more info i can see about getting it

since the H2 is mentioned, the 2003 version of the RF Powers might be an option, even though they might be lacking some of the SQ he might want

sorry, cant edit my post right now, board is kookie, but Casey, aka Kickinaudio might be able to work out a deal on that, also there are a ton of Adire fans on here and a deal no less so the Brahma is a very viable option, and its a more than proven sub

MAGNUM is the way to go, i have two 15's in my integra hatchback. i cant stand to go past volume level 25 (out of 35) this is with my punch knob turned all the way down. there clarity is awsome ive turned heads with mine, people think i have much more than i do in my trunk. they can make my whole car body flex about an inch. rattle rattle rattle.

hope this helps.

grab a DVC 4 ohm XXX. Its only what 25 bucks over budget? 1500 watts would be perfect for it.

the price i got on the 15XXX was $399.00 from RE.

then theres shipping, cost of changeing the coils which is $25.00...

might just get the 15SX and pray that the amp is overrated...

You gotta remember that the '1500' is @ 14.4v. And the numbers are true.

Too bad you couldn't go with a pair of Tempests.

I'll think of some more ideas.

might try and tell him to get a used sub that way it would be easyer to find him one.
