Posted April 23, 201411 yr Figured I would make a video with the note 3 considering it has a pretty decent camera. Turns out it captures vibrations pretty well. Curious to see how the "wave" effect looks on bigger systems. One thing I did notice however was that it doesn't pickup the low low notes very well, that is to be expected though with only 1 12. I was also thinking about tuning the box a bit lower so i could play 20-26 hz with more authority (I listen to a lot of low decaf/DJSNT music), would it make sense to just buy a new 4 inch aero with a shorter length? or would it be worth it to maybe design a 4th order enclosure which may also give the output im looking for? Thanks in advance.
April 23, 201411 yr Author Size of subwoofer has nothing to do with low lows as you say, thats a myth.I meant that the camera doesnt pick up the low notes very well.
April 23, 201411 yr Author what's the box specs right now?2.5 cubes net tuned to 32 hz. It peaks much higher though around 40 hz, I'm trying to get away from that and get more low-end output.
May 5, 201411 yr Depending on what your vehicle peaks at and location of the woofer will greatly determine the response. Have you tried moving the box around? If you want to build another box also, tuning the box lower and going on the higher side of the recommended box size will help as sencheezy said.
