September 22, 201410 yr Not the point. Is it a daily setup, or spl only. If it's a daily why bother, make it sound good to you who cares how loud it is. If it's spl oriented, then it would be worth spending money on.
September 22, 201410 yr Author Its a daily setup and I agree on just making it sound good to me. Only reason I want to meter it is for benchmark purposes. I know eventually I will want something louder and want to see the difference in numbers if ya know what I mean.
September 22, 201410 yr If competing is not your goal then find someone locally who has a term-lab or try to go to a car audio meet close to you. It will save you money as both reliable meters are upwards of $300.
September 22, 201410 yr Author Yeah I was thinking that would be my best bet. I'll have to ask around, never been to any meets but its something I'd enjoy.
