Do I need to worry about the sub bottoming out because it has no ssf filter?

Yes but that depends on what music you play, thats th reason for an SSF. Why not use the HPF on that amp as an SSF?

I don't know. I have ever used a four channel to power a sub.

So what I am saying if I set it to high pass won't the sub try to play all the hz?

ssf is a high pass filter. if the high pass filter can be set to 30 hz or lower then use it.

you could possibly do some stuff with the box design like tuning lower. if you're running sealed then dont worry about it
