So i received my xcon just now... and i was checking it over and there are no mounting holes in the surround.. do i just drill out where the hole is in the frame? ( there are mounting holes in the basket and the gasket just not where the surround is)

thats what i assumed, just dont want to damage my baby!

All new ssa, fi, ascendent, etc come with no holes in the surround portion. I usually just poke around with a pick tool and find the holes before I mount the woofer. Id rather have a small hole and have it seal up a little better, than to drill them out.
