whay type of mounting should I use to invert my Mag???

I am either going to just build a new box with the magnet facing the rear of the car or, going to build a box in the tire well with the magnet facing up toward the trunk lid.

but my concern is how to mount it.

Just mount it like you would mount any other sub.

But be careful the surround doesnt rub in the opening.

The gasket is pretty much useless when inverting so rip that off

BEst advice in the world right there. I discovered this the hard way years ago. Had to shave 1/16" off the cutout, and roundover the edge just for insurance.

Roundover bit is definetely your friend.

Sorry...it's really my only attempted claim to fame. Although, I did demo the newer basketed drivers w/the old motor inverted as well. I guess that doesn't count for much.

hey I actually talked to him about that very thing today. It would really be just about arranging for you guys to get together for you to have the car. He's a little nervous about driving it a long way due to the whole oil leak and all the crap that it needs. I told him sometimes you work in the area, so maybe someone could bring you and you just take the thing for as long as it takes to rip it all out. Plus, you could listen to it some.
