Is windows 7 or 8 better?

 

I have never used Windows 8.1

I would buy 8, because you will be able to upgrade for free to windows 10 when it comes out around June.

Yes you will have to adapt, but if you use it like Microsoft intends you to use it you will love it.

I couldn't stand to go backwards to 7.

 windows 8.1 has unbelievable security features , my dad got a new laptop just before he passed

and I had to take it to a computer geek to get around the pass lock code

 

I like 8.1 somewhat ... it seems to work smoothly with very little hick ups so far

Now all I need is my tax return.

I like 8.2 a lot.

Much more than I expected.
