I currently have 2 05' s12L7's running on a bx1605d in a 4cuft box tuned to 35hz. The box has the subs and port facing up. I have been looking at alot of different subs and decided to ask your opinion. I have about 5cuft for an enclosure after subs displacement and port area. What two 12"s or 15"s could I get that would sound better and get just as loud or louder preferably with the amount of space I have and my bx1605d? They will be in an 04 Toyota Tacoma Ext. cab. Thanx 4 any help.

Price range usually helps ;)

Probably not over $500. And with the 2 15's idea. I know that 5 cuft is small for most dual 15" setups. Just would like to find new ideas, bc I'm all out lol.

2 RL-ps will fit in that range

RL-P'S RL-P'S RL-P'S. I dont even have one yet and i am extremely excited about it and am recommending it. Hopfully that will all change soon. 2 15's would run you $490 plus shipping and 800rms each from your amp would be perfect and it would be loud n' sound great!!

In an extended cab truck, if 2 Rl-p15's are not enough, you should check your hearing and heart to make sure its still beating.

Would the 2 Rlp 15's in a 5cuft box tuned to 30-32 hz with about 70sqin of port area get louder than my L7 12's. I know they would sound much better

they have a little bit of a cone advantage, the 15's are best in 2.5 to 3.0 cubes per,

they have very studry motors and suspension and seem to take a few days of listening to loosen up some, but keep in mind the output and the quality of sound is all dependant on the quality of the install too,

for performance per dollar the RL-p is up there and there have been endless happy customers, if you need help we can help out on the box design
