Posted June 5, 200619 yr Don't laugh too hard, but I bought my 2nd Gen SI D2 12" sub so long ago, I forget how I was going to wire it. What Ohm do I wire this at? I ask because I may move the amp I was originally going to use to my midbass and need to find a new sub amp for this sub.

June 6, 200619 yr Author i.e. a 2 channel bridged.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Huh? So when the amp is wired bridged is it 2 ohm bridged mono or 4 ohm bridged mono?
June 6, 200619 yr If it's 2 ohm stable in stereo, then when you bridge it, it will be stable into 4 ohms or more. The Mags, can only be wired parallel (1ohm), or series (4ohm). If you bridged the 2 channel amp for a mono channel, you would want to wire in series. Now, if the amp is .5 ohm stable in stereo, then it will handle a 1 ohm bridged mono load in which case you would wire in paralle. YOu don't HAVE to, but this suggests the amp will give it's optimal power output.
