I listen to all kinds of music from " rock , industrial , rap , club ect . "
June 8, 200619 yr componets FTW.i can dig up my old thread on AF where i put 6.5's into a 6x8 hole if you want.

June 8, 200619 yr Author If you must....Boston Acoustics or Pioneer REV<{POST_SNAPBACK}>You really think those are better choices than the Eclipse or JL -remember - I blew the memphis's " boston ,and pioneers " are even less power.
June 8, 200619 yr Author screw it, i had nothing else to dohttp://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/...ad.php?t=375418<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Thanks man - I still want to stay with 6x9 though - i have components in the front - so i want the little bit of a different tone a 6x9 gives off.
June 8, 200619 yr Author Joe, would you consider moving up to components? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I would prefer 6x9 for there tone - i already have components in the front - want that different tone in the back though.
June 8, 200619 yr Author Its not distortion - I'm a musician - and theres just something i like about the sound - i used to own some kisker components and 6x9's a couple years ago - the 6x9's arent as loud , but they have a little bit of an extra tone - the snare drums have more of that hollow effect , and chit like that - I dunno - by ear it sounds tht way to me.
June 8, 200619 yr Anything other than what the signal was intended to sound like IS distortion. Not all distortion is bad, Wahwah pedals and other forms of added distortion are often used by musicians with almost all string instraments. However, if you want to listen as the artist intended you have to focus on your system's distortion beling as low as possible. Round pistons will more accurately reproduce compressions than oval or square ones. If you prefer the sound of the 6x9's then you prefer the added distortion that is likely due to non linear displacement because the piston is unbalenced. That isnt a bad thing if its what YOU prefer.
