I am considering a different amp combination. Would a DLS A7 with 600 watts in 1 ohm, be enough to run a Gen 2 SI 12"? I only have 1 sub, but am considering running 2 A7's and get a second 12" sub. So how would 1 sub with 1000 watts compare to 2 subs with 600 watts each?

One other question though. What kind of space will I need for 2? I had a ported box designed for a single 12" and it takes up a good portion of my trunk!! Now someone once said to seal my trunk and not use a box. Does this mean that the trunk is no longer useable? Or that sealing up all the cracks and such with sound deadener would be fine?

Doign IB is a lot of work and wont get you the most output.

And the driver needs to be sutiable for IB application.

All of our Mag's both new and old are suitable for IB. However, running IB is a lot of work...mainly sealing off your trunk from your cab.

When you include the space for a labyrinth and low tuning the box size for 1 ported is usually near the same size as 2 sealed. Doubling your drivers in either configuration will pretty much require double the box though.

Yeah due to that, I think I will have to scratch the idea. The box designed takes up about as much space as I am willing to let go of.

I loved the sound of the mag off about 450 watts
