September 18, 200321 yr hey man, nice ideas, just what is the sub though? isnt HART made by KOVE AUDIOis that the sub that looks like the L7 from KICKER?jamie
September 18, 200321 yr Yes today Hart is make by Kove. This sub is actually about 8-10 years old. I was made way before Kove ever bought the name from them. Basically after that company went under, Kove decided to buy the name from them so that hey could have that name to use as a lower level brand of products. Kind of like what Memphis does with Depth Charge. The only thing that this subs has in common with the new company owened by Kove is the name, that's about it.

September 19, 200321 yr Author The sub is from 1995. It was one of the first true 1000 RMS subs. It weighs in at a hefty 35 pounds. Not bad for a sub that old! It came with a 99 year warranty but unfortuately after the company died so did the warranty. I actually tried to get a blown sub replaced by contacting Kove but their owner Gary Kovener said they bought the Hart name and nothing else. So I guess I have to fork over the $70 + shipping to send it to CA to get reconed. It is a great sub. At a local comp we did a 141.0 with it in the trunk of a Saturn with 400 watts. Not too shabby.

May 4, 200421 yr I still remember the old Hart Attack boxes that I used to make----3.25 cubes tuned to 32Hz with alittle over 35SI of port----hell I think Hart was the biggest thing around here when I was growing up.
May 6, 200421 yr Is this one of the old Cardiac woofers? I remember seeing them in the CA&E directory in high school and was in awe at first sight of one years later.
