It seems the Mercedes CLS can be either a coupe or sedan, depending on what seems most appropriate at any given moment. To Mercedes, it's a cool coupe. To German's Brabus, it's a sedan. Why? Because the tuner's CLS-based Brabus Rocket hit a speed of 227 mph (362.4 km/h) this week, making it the fastest "sedan" in the world. The car has a twin-turbo V12 engine from the latest Mercedes 600 models, pushed to an incredible 730 horsepower. The car also offers the fastest acceleration for any "sedan"

I drove an AMG version of the CLS as my uncle had one for about two weeks. He hated it though. Not really the car, just the fact that they really slant the roof and make it tough for larger people to be in. I think they are sweet though and would love one, especially a Brabus.

just did another k-40 in a viper truck. today.

I've driven the AMG version and the SRT-10 truck. The steering in the truck is way too touchy but I'd almost say the opposite about the AMG. Felt a little distanced from the road for my tastes. That and the sloped roof makes us taller fools not feel like you can see anything. My Uncle actually hated the AMG so much he only kept it for 3 weeks.

Next drive of his I get to take is in an 07 S63 AMG. :woof:

I am in love with that motor, N/A v8 that makes that kind of power.

In a few reviews, the testors have stated something like it does not have the throw you back burst the supercharged S65 does but they are running nearly identical times. Now both BMW and MB have a high powered N/A motor, except BMW has two more cylinders.
