Ultimately, she needs to make the decision whether or not it's something she can live with. I personally think you shouldn't bother with a tattoo unless it's something that holds a deep, personal meaning to you, but then again, discovering a "hidden" tattoo somewhere that may not hold any personal meaning at all can be extremely attractive

But whatever the reasons, it needs to be something unique...translation - if you're not Chinese, chances are you're going to look like an idiot by putting Chinese characters on you.

They are working on the highway in town here, and some of the construction people were in the local bar and one big fella was showing off his tattoos. He had some chinese script on his arm showing it off. A local fella (big guy) said, "My mom's microwave has that exact same thing on it." The fella started getting pissed talking about going outside and settling it. Knox (local fella) just stands up and WHAM, decks the fella and once he woke back up in a couple minutes, I guess he was kinda quiet while he left.

My turn for input.

I have 6 tatts so far. Locations IS important. 4/6 have special meaning to me. One of the others is to help create a whole calf piece, and the other is just beacuse its what my mother had in mind when she heard i get some "celtic knotwork".

Lemme give you a run down in order of inking

1. Atomic skull. Left outer calf

representative of my personality. "Potentially deadly to certain people's psyche" (as stated by a few ex's)

2. Rhymesayers Logo. Right forarm

Loved the logo, decided to have it tatted after looking at it and reaslising it is symbolic of taking th top. Bing the best.

3. Celtic Knotwork crecent moon. Left bicep

Always have loved celtic design, and I am a night person by nature.

4. Celtic cross. Right side of my chest

Tatt for mom's thoughts.

5. American flas cut through. Left side of chest.

Personal pride in my country. Flag appears to be waving over my heart.

6. Paul booth design of a fish skeleton. Left inner calf.

Calf will be a "death calf" with a dead pinup girl of the backside of my calf.

I regret none of these tatts but i with the right forarm tatt was done bigger cause its starting to mess up alread.

Fair enough, I was out of place sorry and surely didn't mean to hate. Had I clarified it would have been better. The only reason I am not into the mushroom is for the same reason one of my best friends is now frustrated with his tattoo. Right at the ripe old and wise age of 18 he decided to tattoo the Graphix clown onto his arm. Yep, the bong manufacturer. Needless to say, it has been over 10 years since he has smoked any pot and doesn't want it on his arm. The likeness of that mushroom to me was of psychedelic ilk and therefore a dumb idea in my opinion since whether or not that is something you are into now it will change.

it's cool sean...but you bring up a good point. and something his girl needs to consider. like he mentions in the post after yours, it's more of the girly knack for liking something they think is cute, ala...unicorn, teddybears,yada,yada,yada.

He's a cool guy though and what he said in his last post is 100% true. Its a girly obsession. She doesnt know what shrooms are like. As far as I know she doesnt know anything but what being drunk is like.

I personally wouldnt do shrooms agian though the high was something that cannot be reached legally or with softer drugs...ive tried with other legal/halfway safe alternatives. but that is something for a different thread/forum/not for the forum at all.
