Posted July 7, 200619 yr I was all like Yay! Cheap Xenon bulbs on eBay, and Elderado is just like... No, nothing good. (though I didnt ask about everything)So, is there anything even worth buying on eBay?http://search.ebay.com/9004_W0QQbsZSearchQ...gZ1QQsofocusZbsIf not, ill go to the auto shop and get them, its just they are cheap here. So any reputable brands? Good bulbs, anything? Because he was telling me how they can explode in side your cover and I really dont want to deal with that, so if I risk that with every brand on there, ill just go to the store.
July 7, 200619 yr I told him to get silverstars. Not cheap no name crap that looks illegal and burns out and the blue chips off the bulb
July 7, 200619 yr Author Lol thats like the most expensive there!Although, if that is literally the only brand worth while getting, then ill do it.You didnt mention any other brands as I recall.
July 7, 200619 yr idk i bought some cheap ones off of there, and they've been pretty reliable other than the fact that they were supposed to be red and the light makes them look pink..lolBut they haven't went out or exploded lol, have ahd them for about a year now, forget the brand, but came from ebay and were about 10bucks
July 7, 200619 yr Silverstars are the closest bulb to the real thing. A real conversion will cost at least $300 and usually is closer to $700. Anything less doesn't work. When it comes to just bulbs the Silverstars are maybe a tad better than stock with a nicer color, but hardly.
July 9, 200619 yr Author Oh.. Damn. Well the real conversion is out of the question. So it looks like the Silver Stars are what im going with.
