Posted July 21, 200619 yr I've seen the specs for both and was wondering what justified the extra money for less watts on the AX2000HC (2400 watts) vs. AX3000DE (3000 watts). I know they HC is for high current (down to .5 ohms) but is there something else I'm missing?

August 2, 200619 yr The Ax2000HC uses parts that are not shared with other amplifiers, thus costs a bit more BUT UNIT CAN RUN AT ALMOST A DEAD SHORT AND HAS BETTER SOUND QUALITY. The AX3000DE puts out around 1000 more watts with the same current draw of a AX2000HC.
