Based on those measurements, the 12 and 15" XXX should be good contenders for the current RL-s. The motor force and sensitivity is about the same and both have linear(ish) motors.

looking at that XXX 18 = crap. Jackhammer's little brother.

All the little n00bx's do is see Xmax as being 54mm and they call it some bad ass mofo.

Ive yet to see video or pictures or feed back of an install where the XXX was moving anywhere near full potential. A guy on CSO was running 4kW to one and two SE 12's where still louder with a LOT less power.

When I first saw it Ithought "nifty, 5" P2P." After it came out and i saw the price, looked at the specs, and then waited for the results of what people had to say I laughed. RE is a joke to me now.

Ive seen videos of the MX series moving further than the XXX with a lot less power. Not that you can judge output strictly by movement in anything but a sealed and IB alignement. However isnt that why RE made these? lots of linear displacement?
