I would love nothing more than to get some and try them out in the dorm, but the way I'm running my mains right now (active) I'm out of amps to power it, and no more money to buy amps with. So I'm just outa luck.

well for me amps isnt an issue

if they come out with 15'' subs i might have to get 4 of them if they would be worth it

well i have been thinking of building me a tube amp for my home.

A buddy of mine has a nice low cost, low power tube amp he built (I think he only paid ~$150 for it) that's quite good. He uses it to drive a set of Fostex fullrange drivers - real sweet...
