just ordered 2 12" mags and a sundown 1500D

can't wait to get them hooked up and hear all the hype surrounding these subs!

Cool! You'll see soon that there is no hype, it's just what people think about them. The kings of LSQ are going to be delivered to you soon. :)

why would you want to rattle some other people's windows?

What car do you have? I'm a little confused as to facing them inside the car ;) towards the rear seats? If you have a trunk I advise to NOT face them towards the rear seats, instead, face them towards the back. If you have an SUV, face them upwards or towards the rear.

"some" trunk cars love the subs facing foward but few...i know my grand am i gained 1.2 db by facing them foward....

i have a 2006 NISSAN MAXIMA

ben from low-hz said best to do was face them towards seats and seal off trunk

keep in mind;

i want to minimize trunk rattle especially the fender rattler 'ghetto shake'

and keep the spare tire

so its probably going to be sealed

which will be louder/heard from further away

and plz dont ask why i want to be heard from further away :thanx:

I have never come across a car that liked the subs facing forward, ever. BUT, it can happen I suppose. If you can move your box around, try it both ways at first to see what sounds better.

nicks a noobx :P. fire the subs forward is normally louder if u seal it off properly... also u don thave the trunk rattlign problem either

Well I can't speak for every car out there, but in my mustang facing them forward and sealing everything off PROPERLY is the best way to go.

Not only did I have ZERO trunk rattle, but it was clearly louder than facing them towards the rear.

Facing them forward, and not sealing them off, was NOT as loud as facing them towards the rear.

If you seal it all off properly I would still suggest facing them forward. But like Nick said, you HAVE to make sure you do a good job of sealing everything off.

well im not doing the install myself

and hopefully this big name shop can do it properly

plus if you drop the seats its like a big hatchback in a way and it shud get just as loud and travel...hopefully

either way...cant wait for them to come

and plz dont ask why i want to be heard from further away :thanx:

but i have to ask because if you plan on going around "bumping" to bring attention to yourself then i'm required to call you a douchebag

it's people like that who are making this hobby harder and harder to enjoy

I am sure he will be responsible with it. He just wants to be able to do it, and I doubt he will actually go around trying to bring attention to himself. :fing34:
