my brother just placed an order for a 15" Q with dual 1 ohm coils with out telling me. and he doesent know much about car audio. hes running a soundstream 1500D, do yall think the sub and amp will be alright running at .5ohm? or should i try and change the order to a dual 2 ohm coil?

The sub yes...the amp no. Im 99.9% sure that that amp is only rated stable at 1ohm....

When was the order placed? You may be able to change it

the order was placed about 2 hours ago. ill be sending Shawn a email tonight to try and get the dual 2 vc

i saw the post and already talked to scott about it, he should be on here, or email you about the change, it wont be a problem! ;)
