What does rescheduled to 3/7/2007 mean? Is that when I can expect it. UPS is showing my sub as rescheduled to 3/7/2007.

It means just that. The delivery date was say 3/4/2007 and something came up, either they didnt pick it up in time, it got delayed somewhere along the route or weather shut down delivery so the estimated delivery date was rescheduled to a later date

UPS gets the original billing information...

say its on Friday March 2nd (Your sub has not been put into production yet for example, but UPS has assigned a tracking number for your order, it has not left yet)

they estimate when the package will get to you on a certain day...

3-5 day build time...then when they pick the package up the shipping information is updated and the expected delivery date is scheduled/rescheduled.

Thanks for responding, it says its in transit but has not left Nevada yet. I was just wondering is all :)

Like Nick said... the original date normally says something different as it is generated at that time the order is processed and UPS assumes it will ship the same day. With a leadtime for building the subs, it does not. Once it is picked up, it will have a rescheduled delivery date now based off the fact that they have the subs in the box smashing hands ;)

Rescheduled to 3/7/07 simply means that the original estimated date was wrong and that now that they have it, it will be rescheduled a correct date based off the pick up date.

I wish I could change how this is set up, but UPS does not allow me to. It will either email you when the order is processed with the assumed same day pickup date, or when you receive the sub... which would be worthless at that point. It does create some confusion and a few p1ssed off customers as they are expecting their product on a certain date... and it doesnt show. But we do have a sticky regarding this (well we used to... I need to see if there is one again or make one) and it is in the T&C as well...

Let me know if I can help with anything else...

Thanks and have a good weekend,

Scott
