I ordered some 4 ohm evil6.5 mids and evil1 tweeters to go with a JAD900.5 amplifier in my 2016 Subaru impreza. SSA says they are out of 4 ohm tweeters. Should I be patient and wait for 4 ohm tweeters to get back in stock or just go for 8 ohm tweeters and 4 ohm mids?

 

The JAD900.5 outputs 75 Watts RMS into 4 ohms

What are you using for a crossover?

Generally speaking 8ohm tweets are more than fine.  You won't need so much power going to them anyways.  Crossover will determine this though.

The JAD900.5 has a Band pass filter that allows for an active crossover.

 

Edit: The variable high pass filter for the tweeters is from 40Hz to 4KHz

Not an ideal crossover, but can work if you are crafty.

Definitely the 8ohm will be fine if not beneficial.
