what you think of both brands? :coolugh:

I personally have not heard them head to head. Both have high output capabilities. But may I ask why you are only looking at those two ?

because of the price and power and i can fin the pair new on ebay...

i have MMATS amp 1400WRMS at 1OHM

many subs out there that can handle that power, and at a good price point as well. the si bm, ss rl-p, fi q and even the mach maw, email a few of our manufacturers and check them out.

of the two, in a sealed box, i'd take the L7. not bashing the 8500, it might even sound better, but i'd go kicker every time between those two.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

eeee :slayer:

^^^ agreeded the l7 has high output capabilities with minimal sq .. but thats not what its designed for .. properly powered .. they are great street beaters .. and can achieve high numbers

the 8500 is not a bad woofer ... its more of an average driver .. nothing to special about it sq or spl wise but an average performer
