Hey all,

I was thinking about getting 2 RL-i8's for my 99 4door Tahoe, would this be enough to get decent bass? I know I have a lot of room for subs but I don't want to take up too much space (I have 2 kids). I have not heard these subs before, but from the vedio that was put out from the hellboy box amazed me. I know I wont get thoes numbers they put up but I still want some decent sound and loudness.

Thanks for any input.

Cool, thanks for the reply.

you'll love em. feed a pair between 750-1000wrms, (you can do less, they'll still be loud), and let em eat. i love my rl-i8, will probably be the first sub in my new to me mustang for awhile.

shoot for around .75-1 cube each, tuned 36-38hz with 12-15in^2 of port. or talk pete (TTB) outa the hellboy, lol.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

You'll get good sound out of them in Tahoe. Ported in a well made box with the proper power will make you happy. :fing34:

Thanks for the help guys, I think I just might get some. I e-mailed Pete on hellboy and he said it is still pending refinements.

I agree, port them and give them some good power. ;)
