I'm planning on upgrading from my SX 12 to a BL 15. Has anyone run this sub off an elemental designs 9.1? I'm wondering if this will be enough power. I plan on posting a build log when i start work on the box.

Thats funny because I am doing the same thing, moving from a 12" SX to a 15" FL but I am also powering it with a RF T10001BD amp....

Only other difference is that its going in a car not a truck!

I would think that amp will do fine, or unless you would look at a 15" Q instead. Or if you have plans to upgrade the amp in the near future though...then go for the BL loaded.

i had an extended cab z71 with a 15" re se and it made my roof flex like a muthafuca! extended cabs are great for subs kuz u can jus use that whole back area for a sub! Just today my rearview mirror broke off the glass in my Denali!! too much bass from the btl, haha

Well my amp does 1200x1 @1ohm at 12.5 volts. Rms on a stock BL is 1000w. My amp really pushes more since my battery puts out around 14.4 volts and the BL I'm buying has flatwind and cooling. I think it should work just fine. Tough part is going to be the box.
