I was searching for information about crimpers (which my iPad always wants to change to crispers!), comparing hydraulic to hammer crimpers for the relative longevity of the crimps, and google brought me here.

I would have loved this site 45 years ago when I was updating the audio in every car I bought… Nowadays I am more into new cars with decent sound systems already there (2023 Expedition with B&O radio) and warranties in place (I know that will get some love here, right? — yes that is said in jest!)

But my current effort is updating the 12V power bank, solar, and inverters in a new camper trailer, hense the AWG 4/0 gauge crimping need.
