maybe a FI q? i already have the box for the mag 2 cubes tuned to 32 hz with 30 sq inches of port (2.5x12), and when i found out no more 12's i was very sad.

will it do okay with 30" of port? like no port noise? cuz i dont like port noise.

Should be good with 30sqin of port. We recommend 12 - 16 sqin per cuft.

I think youll be able to limp along with a Q for a while ;)

Thanks...

Scott

cool! thanks for the info scott,

ahm one more thing. for the power handling, how efficient are these things? cuz like i was hoping to run around 7-800w (around the same if not a little more than im running for my RL-p. my lectrical system wont allow above 1kw or it will be seriously killing my voltage.

Not the most efficient driver out there, but I have said for years that the efficiency number has little to do with bottom octave performance. They are less efficient than a BTL, but will have more bottom end per Watt (up until there mechanical limits).

They will need a good break in preiod before they settle into specs and really start to shine SQ wise. Or with only 700-800W, I can use 2 soft spiders to get a wee bit more out of them and to be a little more stable suspension wise overall.

Thanks,

Scott

With "only" 800w of power? That's all I'm giving my Q's and they hit and sound awsome....mmm more power..MORE POWER!!!!!! Where's my MD3 Flakko?
