I think he knows that but it appears he is asking if it would be a noticeable difference...

I hate to say it but it all depends on the install. In thier respective optimal enclosures the 15's should be louder. If you will "notice" it or not, we can't answer you that for you.

Sounds like it wouldent be worth it to spend the extra money

Honestly for the price if you can fit optimal enclosures for each, the displacement difference between a 15 and 12 is pretty big, and in my opinion def worth the extra $20 a sub.
