Posted May 2, 200718 yr as the title states.i like how the xxx sounds, it gets loud, but im thinkin...maybe a 12" mt on 2500w....behind the seats, i can get like 2.7 cubes ported, should be enough for 1 12" mt right? and weight, the 05xxx is like maybe what, 10 lbs less than a 12" mt?i know the xxx has better SQ, etc. but i would probably like either one, i like just straight up loud bass.heres the xxx on a power acoutik a2400db Edited May 2, 200718 yr by pimpedout97x

May 2, 200718 yr Author lol naw, i said from the get go i was gonna get a nice set of components.my JBL GTO 6x9's came in yesterday, theyre pretty damn nice for 77 shipped. just deciding on mt or xxx...

May 2, 200718 yr Author i understand, but some people like just straight up SPL loud bass on music.im one of them.not saying i dont like SQ bass (the xxx), but that doesnt mean i dont like SPL bass too.

May 5, 200718 yr Author i understand, but ive already worked a deal with Robin, and im getting an mt motor for 150, already have the basket, and i think im gonna sell my JBL rear fill i got as well. the boston pro60's sound great up front, im gonna hook up the rear on an amp, see what its like, and decide if im gonna keep them or not based on how they sound. should be starting the box within the next week or two, once Robin finishs his wall.will be behind the back seats, should be able to get about 3 cubes + port area, should be enough for a 12mt daily. the back hatch is gonna rattle like CRAZY.ive found that sub back, port back is loudest. so thats how it will be built i guess,will be using birch + fiberglass, to save as much weight as possible, and the 05 xxx is only like 10lbs less than the mt anyways, and should be a chit ton louder.
