Im looking to upgrade to 18's by the end of summer, and was wondering if you guys could recone my RE HC 12's into 18's. Right now they are being powered by a Ampman Revo 1500.1(which Im sure you are all familiar with) @ 2ohms cause I let the magic smoke out of the other 1500.1(I had two). Anyways if I got them reconed by you would they be ok getting 1500w+ each? Also could you reccomend a reputable shop that would fix my other Revo 1500.1? I havent found anyone local(Jersey) that I would trust to fix it. Sorry for the long rambling questions

CIA engineering should be able to help you out on the amp...

A recone should be in the ballpark of ~90 bucks a pop...baskets/gaskets are going to be like 38-40 each + ship

Really hard to say, that motor is completely different from anything that we're doing now.

A HC is a HC...that's about all it is

Depends on what year version HC it is. Some I can change with Q coils, others can only use the HC coil (which I stock).

I got them from the last buy a pair sale (whenever that was). I just want to be sure that they will be ok with 1500w each, and not loose the ability to hit the really low notes(I like shaking the sh*t outta things). As for the comparison the the other subs, I was just asking so I could get an idea of what box would be required
