I'm fairly sure it can be done, but the price probably won't be much more if it helps, and I think that motor is better suited for 15" or smaller and that is one of the reasons TC offers it for such hope I helped

Yes we can recone it to an 18... but Im not sure of what the specs or how entirely useful of a sub it would be. Are your motors the newer style with a little heavier bump in the back or the older flatter ones?

i've actually decided not to go 18. mainly because of the box i had built and the 12 is loud enough. there are just a couple small problems that need to be taken care of that i can't fix.

I can use the Q coils in that motor as well. Im sure I can make it a decent 18.

ok decided to stick with the 12. can someone pm me a price on just the recone kit shipped to 85248. i'd like to try reconing this myself. q coils dual 1.4 three stiff spiders. Thanks!!
