i pluged it up to my home cd player and it was playing for about 12 seconds and my cd player like cut off and restarted so i unplug'd it realy quick like. Did i mess up my sub. It looks fine and doesnt smell burn or anything soooo???? was it just the cd player..

Dont know about home setup but last time I played hard with my Q15 with 50 cent candy shop and half way through the song, suddently everything went quiet.

So I panicked, turned off everything and parked my car. Left the car for a while and turn up everthing is ok. Took the sub out and everything is fine. Seems that my voltage it too low and everyhing been but off of power.

Dunno if its related but just feel like telling someone LOL.

I'd worry more about possibly having damaged the CD Player more than the sub...

its a cd player as in like 80 dollars from walmart were it has 2 red black imputs so i hook'd them both up to the sub and played it and then it stopped playing so i took it out of the wall. and then just to see if the sub still worked i plugd it back up and it played so now im done untill friday when my amp gets here.

i dont think it messed up my sub. I mean sound still comes out of it.

I'm gonna guess the $80 Wallywurld "CD Player" can't handle the load at that current draw.

I wouldn't worry about the 10ish watts messing something up.
