So the plan right now is to pick up (2) 12" SSDs for the new car. Originally I was going to power them with a SAZ-1500D and call it a day. Now I have been pondering the idea of powering them with 2 SAE-1000Ds for a little extra juice and a little overhead. I just don't know if the price difference is worth it.

So the question is which do you think I should do? I've heard the 1500D is underrated with the right electrical, but will I get more out of this setep with the 2000W? Thanks in advance.

I think

the saz-1500d on stock SSD's

2 SAE-1000d on SSD's with the flatwound coil

OR

2 SAE-1000d on SSD's with copper coils AND BP option

just my opinion or more so what i would do in your shoes mad...

I was planning on getting the SSDs with the copper coils only.

what about a new merlin md2d or md3d?

edit: im not to steer him away, but just giving another suggestion, so to answer the original question, if oyu have the money 2 1000D's are the way to go :)

Than I would suggest one SAZ-1500d. Giving you ~1600 watts rms @ 1 ohm. Perfect for copper coiled ssd's.
