June 12, 200718 yr Author They don't sound all that great, and they're not a good value?how do they sound compared to L7's, because they dont sound all that great
June 12, 200718 yr i have a T2 12" and i have a TRF 2212 12"and i have a 12" FI BTL i have run them all of a t40001bd all handle the power the T2 @ 2 ohms 3500 wattsthe TRF2212 at .75 about 5000 watts the FI BTL @ 1 ohm about 4700 watts just in sound alone the FI sounds better than the RF 's to me i also do installs with P2, P3 , T1 they all to me don't sound great to me , including the 2007 line , they do handle the power howeverbut as mentioned above you can find subs that also handle the power and sound better for less money the entire line is made in China what Scott is doing in Nevada with FI subs at $400 or less per sub shipped for almost their enitre line , and customizing it to customers needs is kinda hard to beat
June 12, 200718 yr They don't sound all that great, and they're not a good value?how do they sound compared to L7's, because they dont sound all that greatpersonally, i prefer the L7s sound over the T1 and T2s. i also like the sq of the solox over either fosgate sub. and the L7 and solo x will more then hold their own against them, if not beat them, for output. the last line of subs i truly liked from rf was the hx2 line, my punch hx2 8s were insane. after that, they are just a waste of money. so much more out there for less money with the same or better performance.wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
June 12, 200718 yr Admin I was a fan of the power HX2. They are still worth looking for on ebay or some where.
