Hey i have a Fi BL 15" and i was wondering for my amp kit do i need to upgrade it. i havent yet to install the sub yet cause im scared my 4guage rockford amp kit wont handle the sub and might jack it up..will it..or do i need a 1/0 amp kit??

will a 4guage work or should i rip out the 4 guage?

and if i need a 1/0 can i keep the existing ground cable and remote wire or do i need to change those out to??

thanks..and sorry for so many questions!!!

Without knowing the model of amp you have and what its current draw is, it's impossible to answer...

lookin at a amp that pushes the sub around 1000wrms to 1500wrms

no upgrades just battery..no h/o alternator...just battery...pretty stock

1/0 would be better.

Since you won't tell us the amp manufacturer, I'm assuming the low end of that range will be max true power. 4ga will work....1/0 will be better...if you ever upgrade amps, 4ga won't be enough.

What ga will the amps input terminals accept...a pretty easy way of saying what the amp needs.

Might as well go 1/0 to a distribution block, depending on what's going to be running the front stage...to save time having to run another cable to the battery.
