Ok so i'm pretty much done wt my box, will post pics soon enough, but.

I'm not going to be able to reach my subs, once done, so if i connect each + and - to a bolt and nut on the box, that should work just fine correct? I'm sure i've seen it done before.

I just would rather not run long lengths of wire to the amp.

Used to use them all the time. Only bolts I ever had a problem with were ones that had some kind of anti corrosion coating on them. :)

Zinc coated :) or galvanized.

That's the ticket , zinc turned black as charcoal :)

I never had a problem with mine, and if you're using 3/8, I have just drilled 5/16 hole and you can screw the bolt in with your screwgun. Just tighten down the chuck and screw in place.

Good luck!

use bare wire lug terminals from home depot with stainless bolts and nuts. that way all u need is a flat head scew driver to undo connections. no ring terminals or having to use a ratchet and socket. i usually do 2 pos and 2 neg wire the coils directly to them and do all parallel and series adjustments outside the box.
