Still, I'm sure there are lots of peeps that would like to hear about them. They are sexy woofers.
June 28, 200718 yr also dont forget to keep these in mind:http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=8208I don't like those at all. The Revelators are nice but those don't come close to the performance of the Seas.
June 28, 200718 yr Author can you use a spacer?Yeah, probably about 3/4 ". That was included in my calculation above.
July 7, 200718 yr Author Well, chit. The baskets on the Seas woofers were way too big, even with a baffle. I broke down and got a set of JBL P650c components from a local shop. They have a nice clear sound with good highs, installation is going well. I'm hoping to have everything done this weekend.
July 7, 200718 yr Author so, no more seas frontstage ? Unfortunately, no. There simply aren't any that will fit in that space, and I don't want to modify the stock interior.

The basket won't fit the (stock) door housing, and even if it did, it would block the window. The vehicle is a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. I will probably create some custom pods for the doors like this guy, for the Seas CAs. As mentioned elsewhere, I'm going to order some HDS tweeters for off-axis in the kickpanels. This thread now supercedes anything written here.
