Hey Scott, my friend has a Sundown SAE-1000d (1000 x 1 @ 1 ohm) for power and I'm trying to figure out what subs to get. He's running 2 12w3v2's sealed and they're getting about 800 watts total. He's looking for a bit more output and better sound. Well first I was looking at dual 12 setups, and I thought about having 2 SSD's (500 watts each), 2 SE's, or 2 TC-9's. All with 500w each and sealed. A single 12" Q also came to mind. Listens to mostly rap anywhere from 30-75hz. What setup do you think would be best for his power available and more output and SQ?

What is his budget? 2 SSD's with the copper coil or a single Q would certainly be good and hard to beat for the price, but there might be some other options available if his budget allows for it.

I'd say around 350, the SSD's are almost pushin it.

Add a sealed 15" Magnum to the mix too.

RE SX 15 / 18

I'm finishing a box for 3 SX 15's and I only have one in my suv now. My friends cant believe that one 15 is louder than their 2 12's.

I tell them wait till this weekend when all 3 are playing
