Frankenwoofer - TCON style

ok so im starting a build. thought id let you guys know, i let aaron know since im going to be getting the recone kit from him.

starts with a tc9 motor, off a 2003 e12a.22 reconed to a b615, then bought by me

a 10" 12 spoke basket - courtesy of/purchased from dave moore over at RE

a 10" icon recone kit (soon to be purchased)

EDIT: heres some pictures of the basket on the motor (just got basket today and put it on)

should be a sweet build. when i do it ill bump this thread up and post some pics and whatnot

just letting everyone know :)

I didn't think PE sold the woofer tester anymore, but I could be wrong. Google it, though, and you can find it. There's other ways of testing thiele/small parameters, but it's probably the easiest route for most users.

if i can find someone local to rochester NY who has one then id be glad to.

maybe that sundown rep in penn yan? its like half hour from me, idk if he'd have one or not

From past experience, they need a fair amount of break in to get them loose.

They feel like cardboard :)
